But, something I've noticed about games, it's happend to mine, is the problem
with the game once its over and as a host you write episode summaries. But your
game quickly loses interest at that stage, and you begin to fall in countdowns
and suffer the consequences. Now, for all the hosts that are revealing their
episodes to the public, you've got a chance to gain back popularity!
You decide on your "airing time" schedual. Are you going to reveal your episodes
every Monday, or maybe every Thursday, or every Saturday? Or, are you going to reveal
a new episode each day? What happens is, there will be advertising (you create
banners, videos, sound files) and I'll have them posted here. For the most part,
keep simple, every-day banners most of the time, but when an exciting event is happening,
like the premiere of the finale, get really excited about it and make some great
advertisements.
Then, as people sign up, I'll ask them which game they anticipated watching the most,
which game they enjoyed most, and which game is the one they're most anticipating for
next time. This will happen every week. By finding out this information, I'll record
down which game they'll be counted for as "viewing." With this information, I'll
post both weekly and seasonal votes. The weekly votes will be posted each week, and the
seasonal votes will be updated at all times, and will be split up into 4 sections of the
year. (Unlike televisions 1 season, they use the other half year to film.) So, there will
be a fall winner, winter winner, spring winner, and summer winter. You gain more publicity
and get braging rights! All games that are revealing their episodes will be counted
for. But the ones that give me the advertisement will be allowed to advertise here!
Here's how the weekly graph will work:
Therefore, Survivor: Egypt was that weeks dominator, with a close following from
Survivor: Elements. Survivor: The Amazon came in 3rd with a rating of 18, followed by
Survivor: The Cyber Space Challenge and finally Survivor: Hogwarts. (The rating is the
percent of people who watched the episode, verses all the people that watched an episode
that week.
Also, remember that if you "air" an episode twice a week, it will count as
two different occasions, that way all episodes are accounted for!
The seasonal ratings graph will work like this:
Therefore, Survivor: Krakatoa had the best overal season, followed by Survivor:
Madagascar, then Survivor: Egypt, Survivor: The Ocana River, Survivor: Fiji, Survivor:
Elements, then Survivor: The Cyber Space Challenge, Survivor: The Amazon, Survivor:
Hogwarts, and finally Survivor: Afghanistan.
However, the best rated episodes worked differently, Survivor: Madagascar had
a great episode and had a rating of 52, Survivor: Krakatoa followed, then Survivor:
The Cyber Space Challenge, Survivor: The Ocana River, Survivor: Elements, Survivor:
Egypt, then Survivor: Fiji, Survivor: The Amazon, Survivor: Hogwarts, and finally
Survivor: Afghanistan.
So, it becomes a competition between hosts - it's almost like the hosts turn
to outwit, outplay, and outlast! They play out the best way to handle their season,
reveal episodes, advertise and try and get the best rated game on the internet!
Keep in mind that the numbers used above were completely fictional! Send me
your information for your Survivor website, and start advertising. Just click
here!
Click here for a sneak peak of what games are planning
to reveal their shows this summer! The first ratings schedual will begin
at the end of July!
We also need people to sign up and watch episodes. It's quite simple: e-mail me
at internetsurvivor@hotmail.com! Please state your name and that you would
like to help with watching the shows to help them get ratings. Each week you will
be issued a question sheet asking for the show that you watched each day of the
week. More information will come soon. Sign up, and expect a weekly e-mail that
should be returned ASAP - if you don't have time or forget to send in your
e-mail, then your votes won't count for that week. WE NEED PEOPLE TO SIGN UP!!!
